Plaster mesh is a product used in building insulation and finishing works. It is made as a mat of thin glass fibers, characterized by good thermal insulation, high resistance to chemicals, elasticity, and resistance to mechanical damage.
Plaster mesh is a construction material used when insulating the exterior walls of a building. Its function is to reinforce the layer of filler and adhesive applied under plaster. Using the mesh reduces the stresses arising from wall heating, thus preventing cracking of the finished plaster.
Plaster mesh is laid on a layer of insulating materials. For preventive purposes, the mesh is used at plasterboard joints and on slopes. It is supplied in 1m wide and 50m long rolls. The mesh weighs 145g/m².
